Prescott Arizona Kennel Club
Prescott Arizona Kennel Club (PAKC) is a non-profit organization which was established in 1966.
In 2022 PAKC celebrated its 75 Dog Show. The goals of of the club remain essentially the same as the original charter, though the activities have expanded enormously over the years.
The purpose of the club is to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs. We are committed to protecting the health and well-being of all dogs.
This is accomplished by conducting conformation shows, obedience trials, agility trials, sanctioned matches, and other events under rules of the American Kennel Club (AKC).
We take great pride in providing education to the public, and we support the AKC Responsible Dog Ownership program.
We offer dog handling classes on a weekly basis year-round at a local park.
We meet monthly and have educational programs at general meetings.
These programs include a variety of topics including health, nutrition, training, showing, grooming and general dog ownership information.
Our club members are a well-rounded group from many disciplines through-out the area. We are pleased to report that our members are highly successful in the sport of dog showing and performance activities.
Our membership is open to any person 18 years of age or older who is in good standing with AKC and who is in agreement with the purpose and policies of our club. We also have Junior and Associate memberships available. For more information on membership, please refer to the meetings page.
